Martin’s early career was with Reuters and Knight-Ridder, two of the world's premiere news and information services providers. He moved to the USA and subsequently established Execucare USA.

Martin specialises in the recruitment of senior staff for not-for-profits. He is also a fluent French speaker.

He has an MA from St Andrews University.

Martin is based in Los Angeles.
